Another week, another warm meal recipe!! I feel like I’m sharing so many stews and soups, but what else does this weather call for??
This is a fun recipe that I actually found in a John Wayne cookbook, hence the name Big Jake Stew… I definitely had to put my own spin on it a bit as usual so my picky family will eat it. It’s a hearty and warm meal that will keep you cozy and put some meat on your bones all at the same time!
I serve it with homemade cornbread and that’s about all you’ll need to fill up your belly in this dreadful cold weather.
