Meet Jayde Baumeister
When we bought Lampasas Cattle Auction in 2019, I began working in the office. During this time, my responsibilities at the barn grew as did my passion for the cattle industry. In September 2020, I left the salon to be at the sale barn full time. I am incredibly enthusiastic about advocating for the beef industry and increasing people’s knowledge of agriculture.
I am a wife, mother of two boys, business owner and rancher. Helping my grandfather every summer on our family ranch cemented my love for the cattle industry. When it came time to choose a career, I became a hairstylist, which allowed me the flexibility to set my own schedule to include riding my horses and spending time on the ranch. When Andy and I married in 2008, I realized agriculture would continue to be a big part of our lives. What I didn’t realize was that the agricultural lifestyle would become my passion and career as well.
